Grandparents have a special place in a child’s heart. When communication feels hard or uncertain, learning just a few signs can open the door to connection, comfort, and joy.

This live, 90-minute Zoom class is made especially for grandparents who want to better understand and communicate with their Deaf, hard of hearing, or preverbal grandchildren. You do **not** need any experience with sign language — this class is gentle, welcoming, and easy to follow.

During this class, you will:

* Learn **simple American Sign Language (ASL)** signs you can use right away
* Learn about **Deaf culture** and respectful ways to support Deaf children
* Understand **hearing devices** in a clear, easy-to-understand way
* Learn how signs help **children who are not yet talking**, even if they can hear
* Discover meaningful ways to **connect, bond, and communicate** with your grandchild
