Meet The Author

JEnnifer Stewart M.S. Ed

Professor Jenny is a CODA (Child of a Deaf Adult), educator, author, and lifelong member of the Deaf community. With over 15 years of experience in early education, special education, and Deaf Studies, she is passionate about helping children access communication through American Sign Language.

Jenny grew up signing with her Deaf father and has dedicated her career to inclusion, language access, and honoring Deaf culture. Through her books, school visits, and professional development work, she helps children and educators learn that signing is not just a skill, it’s a bridge to connection, understanding, and belonging.
